My Whole 30 Diary from January and a little Testimony
My family asked for some sample menu items when I went on the whole 30 challenge in January. I created the attached "Whole 30 Food Diary" to help them out which details everything I ate my first 30 days of going "Paleo". Its incomplete but I will update the missing days as time permits. As you can see I was eating LOTS of food, especially snacks including fruit. 4 months later, I still eat well but I'm eating less fruits now because my sweet tooth is not as strong and doesn't crave sweets like it used to. Miraculously, I lost a total of 17 pounds my first 30 days! This is not the case for everyone from what I hear. I did not go "Paleo" to lose weight and I do not recommend that anyone do it for that reason. This is not a diet. I HATE diets! It is a LIFESTYLE change and all about making wholesome, healthy, food choices. The 1st 30 days I discovered that refined sugar was my drug of choice. My name is Shirley and I am a sugar addict. I still enjoy sugar but it is not the same as before. Now, it is a treat when I have it and I don't feel guilty. Hope my diary helps you if you're considering going "Paleo".
